Puffy Nipples - Patient 30
Before and after photos of a 20 year old male from Schnectady, NY, who is 6'4 and weighs 200 pounds. In his early teens he began to develop Puffy Nipples, a common form of Gynecomastia that affects 1 in 3 men during their lifetime, especially during adolescence. The condition occurs due to a formation of mammary tissue located beneath the areola that results in the distended or “puffy” appearance of the nipples. Often the condition will reduce upon maturity but this young man had seen no improvement into adulthood. He felt uncomfortable with the appearance of his chest and decided to seek the expertise of Dr. Mordcai Blau, board certified plastic surgeon and a diplomate of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He was impressed to learn about Dr. Blau's superlative reputation as the utmost authority across the globe in Gynecomastia surgery and that he has developed his own surgical method for the correction of Gynecomastia called the “Natural Blend Technique.” The patient underwent male breast reduction surgery in which the mammary tissue was excised. As can be seen in the post-op photos, there is much improvement in the contours of the patient's chest. The young man is very pleased with the results and no longer feels uncomfortable removing his shirt in public.
