Pseudogynecomastia - Patient 23
Before and post-op photos of a 32 year old Winchester, White Plains, NY male, who is 5'8 and weighs 175 pounds. He began developing Pseudogynecomastia at 18 years of age, a condition in which the male breasts become enlarged due to the formation of adipose tissue, which differs from true Gynecomastia, in which the breasts are comprised of mainly glandular tissue. The patient did not feel comfortable with the appearance of his chest and decided to consult with Dr. Mordcai Blau, board certified plastic surgeon and a diplomat of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He was impressed to learn of Dr. Blau's superlative reputation throughout the world as the utmost authority on Gynecomastia surgery and that over 50% of his practice is dedicated to the correction of the Gynecomastia condition. Male breast reduction surgery was performed, involving the liposuction of the chest area in which the excess adipose tissue was excised. As can be seen in the post-op photos, the patient has a more masculine contour to his chest and he is thrilled with the results.
