Asymmetrical/Unilateral Gynecomastia - Patient 27
This is a 31 year old patient from Long Island, Nassau County, NY, who is 5'6 and 170 lbs. He had been enduring a condition called Asymmetrical Gynecomastia, a condition that results from the development of glandular tissue located beneath one breast only, causing that breast to become enlarged. The patient felt self-conscious about the appearance of his chest and felt his condition was noticeable, even when layering his clothing. He avoided places such as the public pool and local gym for fear he would gain unwanted attention. Growing weary of constantly trying to hide his condition, he consulted with Dr. Blau, board certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years experience. He was impressed to learn that Dr. Blau is regarded world-wide as the utmost authority in his experience and knowledge in Gynecomastia surgery and is also a well-accomplished author on the subject. Male breast reduction surgery was performed on the afflicted right breast along with a small amount of liposuction in order to create symmetry over the entire chest area. The patient is exceedingly happy with the outcome is enjoying a new self-confidence he had not experienced prior to the procedure.
