Asymmetrical/Unilateral Gynecomastia - Patient 7
This is a 22 year old patient, weighing 190 lbs and 6'2, who traveled to consult with Dr. Blau from San Antonio, TX for his Asymmetric Gynecomastia. This is a condition where one breast is considerably larger than the other due to an excess formation of glandular tissue underneath the affected breast. The patient developed this condition during early adolescence and did not see an improvement with age. He consulted with Dr. Blau, board certified plastic surgeon, because he was not only impressed that he is world-renowned on the subject of Gynecomastia, but also that 50% of his practice is dedicated to the correction of the condition. Male breast reduction surgery was performed with a reduction of the excess glandular tissue on the affected right breast (the left breast remained untouched) along with a small amount of liposuction. This San Antonio, TX patient is very pleased to have a more masculine chest and no longer feels embarrassed at the prospect of removing his shirt in public.
