Asymmetrical/Unilateral Gynecomastia - Patient 5
This is a 28 year old Fairfield County, CT male who had developed Unilateral Gynecomastia His left breast was considerably larger than his right breast due to a formation of glandular tissue beneath the afflicted breast. He felt very self-conscious about the appearance of his chest and felt uncomfortable at the prospect of removing his shirt in public places. He decided to consult with Dr. Blau, board certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years experience. He was impressed not by the success of the before and after photos offered on Dr. Blau's website but also upon learning that Dr. Blau is regarded across the world as a head authority in Gynecomastia surgery and a well-accomplished author on the subject. His consultation revealed that there was actually small problem with his left breast as well. He received male breast reduction surgery a procedure in which the glandular tissue was excised along with a small amount of liposuction. The patient is very happy with the results and is more confident about his self-image.
